Your tour guide generally lets you spend a day at the valley to build acclimatization from where you will head to summit of Gokyo Ri next morning.

Also, you will need to obtain a Sagarmatha National Park trekking permit and TIMS card to set up for this trek. The Pemits will cost around $40 both combined.
